What this is
A structured opinion. The Wrapper Test scores the answers you give about your own vendor against a published rubric. It has no knowledge of any vendor, does not evaluate any company, and makes no factual claim about any named product or organisation. Every judgement in a result originates in your answers.
What it is not
It is not legal, financial, procurement or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for due diligence. Do not make a purchasing decision on the strength of a score alone. The suggested contract terms are prompts for a conversation with someone qualified, not drafting.
The rubric is a judgement
The questions, weights and thresholds reflect one practitioner’s view and are published in full on the method page so you can disagree with them precisely. They may change; results are versioned so an existing link keeps its original meaning.
Paid reports
The paid report is a written analysis prepared from the information you supply, produced with AI assistance. Its quality depends on the accuracy of what you provide, and it carries the same limitation as the free result: it is an informed opinion, not advice. If it is not useful to you, ask for a refund and you will get one.
Independence
No vendor pays to be scored, to change a score, or to advertise here. If sponsorship is ever accepted it will not be from a company the rubric could be applied to, and it will be disclosed.
The Wrapper Test is an independent side project run by Sam Buxton. It is unconnected to, and not endorsed by, any employer, and no confidential information from any employment informs it.
Liability
Provided as-is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for decisions taken in reliance on it. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Governed by the law of England and Wales.
